Gallery hours are 9:30 am to 2:30 pm,
Tuesday through Friday.
Admission is
always free. |

Come join us each month in a casual and friendly atmosphere when we celebrate the
opening of a new exhibit with a wine and hors d'oeuvres reception.
A new exhibit is hung each month, starting in October. Some exhibits feature
members, faculty, students or regional artists. Others are juried open exhibits
and the Island Art League encourages participation by all interested area artists.
Exhibit artwork is original and most is available for sale by the artists.
Opening receptions are on Friday, the first evening of the exhibit, from 5:30pm to
7:30pm, unless otherwise noted, and are always open and free to the public.

This annual exhibition celebrates our talented instructors and their wide range of media, technique, styles and philosophies.

An all media juried exhibit open to area artists featuring views and visions of the island. Part of the annual artsHOP event.

Logical Infusion
December 2rd - January 6th
OPENING RECEPTION: DECEMBER 2, 5:30-7:30P.M.
Design and aesthetics, digital imaging, and craftsmanship come together to create a unique 3- dimensional color field
experience by artist Richard E von Ende.

An all media, members-only exhibit, honoring an Island Art League founder.

Life's Passageways
February 10th - 24th
OPENING RECEPTION: FEBRUARY 10, 5:30-7:30P.M.
This black and white photography exhibition focuses on portals and pathways from near and far. Life's passageways
as seen through the lenses of artists Gerald Quin and Christine Galanopoulos.

Island Art League students of all levels share their accomplishments and showcase the fine art and creative
energy generated in the Art League's classes and workshops.

Fresh and fun - always imaginative, this exhibit showcases works by Manatee High School art students.

The Island Art League is grateful to the many excellent island restaurateurs who show
their support of the arts through the delectable food they prepare for our opening receptions.
