Each year, The Anna Maria Island Art League hosts “Springfest” Art Festival. This festival is a combination of people, education, entertainment and food; where you can find amazing items, hand crafted and offered for sale by talented artists. “Springfest” brings talented artists and art lovers, from near and far, to our little barrier island. Many who attended proclaimed this year’s festival “the best ever”.

Eighty professional artist and crafts persons from across the United States will gather in Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island March 18th & 19th, 2023 for the 35th Annual Anna Maria Island Springfest Festival of Fine Arts and Fine Crafts. Sponsored by the Anna Maria Island Art League. This juried show draws top quality art to City Hall Field in Holmes Beach. The hours are: Saturday 10a.m. to 5p.m & Sunday 10a.m. to 4p.m. Admission and parking are free. This family event features continuous live music on stage Saturday and a large food court offering a variety of food and beverages. Also exhibiting will be community organizations that include various, historical, and environmental groups with information about these worthwhile causes.
A highlight of the festival is a gala raffle of art work donated by festival exhibitors. Proceeds benefit the Art League’s Scholarship Fund, which provides classes to children and adults. The raffle gives everyone a chance to collect great art for a small donation. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5 and winners need not be present to win. The art festival “Springfest”, is the major fund raisers for the League, a nonprofit, tax deductible organization dedicated to fostering the Arts on the island. In addition to the classes, funds from the festival underwrite operation of the art center, exhibits, and a variety of programs for the community. We are searching for people to give back to our community by making our 35th Annual “SpringFest” an awesome event for our guest artists and visitors.
Anna Maria Island Art League is seeking Volunteers for our 35th Annual Springfest.
Sat./Sun. March 18th & 19th, 2023. Event hours are Saturday 10am – 5pm & Sunday 10am – 4pm. Volunteers form the back bone of the Art League. The success of Springfest relies on a squad of volunteers to help with all sorts of tasks throughout the weekend.
Help is needed for : Food Tickets, Hospitality Booth, Selling Raffle Tickets, Booth Sitters, & Young at Art Booth. If you could spend an hour or more, please call The Art League 941-778-2099 or email artleagueami@gmail.com. You need not commit the entire day. Unless you want to! Our event is quickly approaching! A time slot of two or four hours would be great. We want to keep you having fun and enjoy volunteering.

We are searching for people to give back to our community by making our 35th Annual “SpringFest” an awesome event for our guest artists and visitors.
Event Date: March 18th – 20th, 2023 Event Hours: Saturday 10am – 5pm & Sunday 10am – 4pm.
Time is short and we really need you to assist with this:
- Can you count money? We need you to sell food tickets or raffle ticket (that help sponsor our classes).
- Are you good with people? We need you to assist the guest artists with their needs.
- Are you strong and courageous? We need you to help set up. Includes moving tables etc.
- Do you do well with kids? We need you to help kids out with simple art projects at the Kid’s Tent
- Are you willing to clean up a mess? It’s not that bad, but we do need people to help clean up.
Do you prefer a shift?
- 1st Shift 7:30am to 11:00am
- 2nd Shift 10:30am to 2:00pm
- 3rd Shift 2:30pm to 5:00pm
